The Qodesh Name of Our Creator
Our Creator’s Name in Full Writing is // . (Ancient Hebrew Writing),(Paleo Hebrew Writing), and (Modern Hebrew Writing) are different writings of the Name of our Creator. In English, it is transliterated to YHWH or YHVH, which means “to be”, “exist”, “become”, and “come to pass”. The four letters of the Qodesh Name of our Creator in written form from right to left means “Hand Behold/Reveal, Nail Behold/Reveal. (Reference source: messengerofthename.com) (Note: Hebrew reads and writes from right to left) It has been pronounced by many people as “Yahuah”, “Yahuwah”, “Yahuweh”, “Yehovah”, “Jehovah”, or “Yahweh”. The Short Version of our Creator’s Name is (Ancient Hebrew Writing)/ (Paleo Hebrew Writing), (Modern Hebrew Writing) and it is pronounced as “Yah”. The praise word “Hallelujah” which is in the Book of Psalms and the Book of Revelation of the Bible, often heard in churches and worship songs, is the pronunciation of the Hebrew Word / , which means “Praise You / / (Yah). / / (Yah) is the short version of the Name of our Elohim, the Most High / . Therefore, when we say “HalleluYah”, we are praising our Creator Elohim!
(This is the Ancient Hebrew Version of the Name of Our Creator Elohim.)
(This is a written form of the Name of Our Creator Elohim in Paleo Hebrew which was found in dead sea scroll writings and on a lot of archaeological findings. In English, it is referred to as ’The Tetragrammaton’ – The Four Letters – YHWH or YHVH. It has been pronounced as “Yahuah”, “Yahuwah”, “Yahoweh”, “Yahuweh”, “Yahveh”, “Jehovah”, and “Yahweh”, etc. Elohim has placed His Name in the Scriptures over 6800 times, but unfortunately, most Bible translators have replaced it with the title “THE LORD”)
(This is the written form of the Name of Elohim in Modern Hebrew. Modern Hebrew is used today in Israel and also in Hebrew Bibles and books.)
(This is the short version of the Name of Elohim in Ancient Hebrew, and it is pronounced as “Yah”. Therefore, when we say “HalleluYah”, we praise our Elohim / / (Yah).
(This is the short version of the Name of Elohim in Paleo Hebrew, and it is pronounced as “Yah”. Therefore, when we say “HalleluYah”, we praise our Elohim / / (Yah).
(This is the short version of the Name of Elohim in Modern Hebrew, and it is pronounced as “Yah”, so, when we say “HalleluYah”, we praise our Elohim / / (Yah). This version of the Name of Elohim can be found in all the Messianic Scriptures. Therefore, when you read the word “HalleluYah” in Hebrew, you can find out that the Name of our Creator Elohim is in it. Many Jewish believers argue that they didn’t know how to pronounce the Name of Elohim, so they don’t pronounce it. But I believe that they do know how to pronounce His Name in the Short version, which is / / , and it is pronounced as “Yah” and they do say and sing “HalleluYah” in their praise. I also believe that we should strive to know how to pronounce the Creator’s Name for it’s so important for Elohim and us. Do you remember that Elohim has emphasized the importance of His Name in the Scriptures so many times? In Isaiah 52:6, Elohim said that His people should know His Name. Therefore, I believe Elohim will reveal the pronunciation to those who sincerely and diligently seek Him.)
/ / (It is pronounced as “Yah”.) is the short version of the Name of / / , the One and Only Creator! The Good News is that this form of transliteration of the Name of our Creator is still in many modern translations of the Bible such as KJV, NKJV, etc. For example, you can find this pronunciation of the Name of our Creator in Psalm 68:4b; Isaiah 12:2b; Isaiah 26:4; Isaiah 38:11; Psalm 102, 117, 138, 148, 150, Rev.19:1, 3, 4, 6 and some other places in the King James Version, New King James Version of the Bible and Complete Jewish Bible, etc. By the way if you want to read a Bible which has the Name of Elohim in it, you may want to check out Halleluyah Scriptures, The Scriptures, and Interlinear Bible Hebrew English by Jay P. Green. You can check out some of the Bible verses below with pictures exempt from those Scriptures to help you better understand why it’s important to call our Creator Elohim by His Name and keep His Name unchanged in the translations.

****** *************************
Some people believe that the Name of Elohim was never spoken and speaking the Name of Elohim is forbidden for the fear of taking the Name of Elohim in vain which is the fear of breaking the third Commandment of Elohim. While others believe that the Name of Elohim shouldn’t be spoken by common people but by the High Priest according to Jewish traditions. It was told that around the time of Messiah (Y’shua/Yeshua/Jesus), only the High Priest spoke the Name of Elohim once a year when he entered the Holy of Hollies in the Temple of Elohim to make Atonements for the sins of Israel on Yom Kippur – the Day of Atonement. Therefore, the Name of Elohim in the Scriptures/Bible has been substituted with the titles such as “Adonai”, “Ha Shem”, “LORD” or “GOD” by the translators to prevent people from speaking the Name of Elohim.
Now let us reason together to see if the above belief is true or not.
Question 1: Is it true that the Name of Elohim was never spoken?
The answer is no according to the original manuscripts of the Scriptures because there is nowhere in the Scriptures can this statement be found. The above belief is purely an assumption. The truth is that, not only almost 7000 times, the Name of Elohim was written in the original Manuscripts, and the original Hebrew Scriptures, but the Name of Elohim was also mentioned by Elohim Himself, Moses, David, other kings, priests, and prophets, and many other Israelites and by Messiah , and his taught ones.
- // Elohim proclaimed His Qodesh Name Himself first. (Exodus 33:19, Exodus 34:5-7) Elohim proclaimed His Name repeatedly and continuously to Yisrael/Israel according to the Scriptures. Elohim declared His Name and who He was to Abraham, Moses, Israel and His other chosen ones numerous times; Elohim asked Israel to call upon Him. (Jeremiah 33:2, Jeremiah 29:12)He also commanded Aaron and His sons to bless Israel with His Name (Numbers 6:24-27), which shows the importance of knowing Him and His Qodesh Name and the importance of His Name.
“And He said, “I shall cause all My goodness to pass before you, and I shall proclaim the Name of before you. I shall favour him who I favour, and shall have compassion on him whom I have compassion.’” (Exodus 33:19, Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)
“And came down in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name, . And passed before him and proclaimed, “, , an El compassionate and showing favour, patient, and great in kindness and truth, watching over kindness for thousands, forgiving wickedness and transgression and sin, but by no means leaving unpunished, visiting the wickedness of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.” (Shemoth/Exodus 34:5-7, HS)
“And appeared to Abram and said, “To your seed, I give this land.” And he built there an altar to , who had appeared to him. And from there he moved to the mountain east of Eeyth El, and he pitched his tent, with Beyth El on the west and Ai on the east. And he built there an altar to and called on the Name of .” (Bereshith/Genesis 12:7-8, HS)
(Bereshith/Genesis 12:7-8, Picture Above Exempt from the Interlinear Bible Hebrew English by Jay P. Green)
“”And He said to him, “I am , who brought you out of Ur-Kasdim, to give you this land to inherit it.” And he said, “Master , whereby do I know that I possess it?“”(Bereshith/Genesis 15:7-8, HS)
“And Mosheh said to Elohim, “See, when I come to the children of Yisrael and say to them, ‘The Elohim of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His Name?’ What shall I say to them?” And Elohim said to Mosheh, “I am that which I am.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Yisrael, ‘I am has sent me to you.’” And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Israel: ‘ Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Yitshaq, and the Elohim of Ya’aqob, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.’”(Shemoth/Exodus 3:13-15, HS)
“And spoke to Mosheh, saying, ‘Speak to Aharon and his sons, saying, ‘This is how you barak the children of Yisrael. Say to them: “ barak you and guard you; make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you; lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.'” Thus they shall put My Name on the children of Yisrael, and I Myself shall barak them.”” (Bemidbar/Numbers 6:22-27, HS)
“See, I am , the Elohim of all flesh. Is there any matter too hard for Me?” (Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 32:27, HS)
“I, I am , and besides Me there is no savior.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 43:11, HS)
“Thus said , Sovereign of Yisrael, and his Redeemer, of hosts, ‘I am the First and I am the Last, besides Me there is no Elohim.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 44:6, HS)
“I am , and there is none else – there are no mighty ones besides Me. I gird you, though you have not known Me, so that they know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none but Me. I am , and there is none else, forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil. I,, do all these.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 45:5-7, HS)
I am , that is My name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 42:8, HS)
“Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I am He who speaks: ‘Behold, it is I.’” (Isaiah 52:6, NKJV)
“Then you shall call on Me, and shall come and pray to Me, and I shall listen to you.” (Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 29:12, HS)
“Thus said who made it, who formed it to establish it, is His name, ‘Call unto Me, and I shall answer you, and show you greatness and unknowns, which you have not known.’” (Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 33:2, HS)
- Elohim declared His Name not only to His people, but also to gentiles. For example, He declared His Name to Cyrus/Koresh, a king of the gentiles. (Isaiah 45:1-7)
“Thus said to His anointed, to Koresh, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and ungird the loins of sovereigns, to open before him the double doors, so that gates are not shut: ‘I go before you and make the crooked places straight; I shatter the gates of bronze and cut down the bars of iron. And I shall give you the treasures of darkness and hoarded wealth of secret places, so that you know that I, , who are calling you by your name, am the Elohim of Yisrael. For the sake of Ya’aqob My servant, and of Yisrael My chosen, I also call you by your name, I give you a title, though you have not known Me. I am, and there is none else-there are no mighty ones besides Me. I gird you, though you have not known Me, so that they know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none but Me. I am , and there is none else, forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil. I, , do all these.'” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 45:1-7, HS)
- The people of Elohim called upon the Name of Elohim and proclaimed His Everlasting Name since the beginning. For example, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses all called upon the Name of Elohim and King David called upon the Name of Elohim and praised His Name frequently in his psalms. Likewise, prophets like Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and priests, and many other Israelites all called upon the Name of Elohim.
Eve/Hawwah, Noah, Abraham, Sarai, Hagar, Isaac, and Jacob, and Moshes and Samuel, Yeshayahu/Isaiah, Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah, King David all called upon , the Name of Elohim.
“And Adam knew Hawwah his wife, and she conceived and bore Qayin, and said, “I have gained a man from.” (Bereshith/Genesis 4:1, HS)
“And to Sheth, to him also a son was born. And he called his name Enosh. Then it was begun to call on the Name of “(Bereshith/Genesis 4:26b, HS)
“And Noah built an altar to , and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.” (Bereshith/Genesis 8:20, HS)

“And she called the Name of who spoke to her, “You are the El who sees.” (Bereshith/Genesis 16:13a, HS)
“And he planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the Name of , the Everlasting El.” (Bereshith/Genesis 21:33, HS)
“And Abraham called the name of the place, ‘ Yireh’, as it is said to this day, “On the mountain provides.” (Bereshith/Genesis 22:14, HS)
“And Abraham said to the oldest servant of his house, who ruled over all that he had. “Please, put your hand under my thigh, so that I make you swear by, the Elohim of shamayim and the Elohim of the earth, that you do not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Kena’anites, among whom I dwell,” (Bereshith/Genesis 24:2-3, HS)
“And he said, “, Elohim if my master Abraham, please meet before me this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham.” (Bereshith/Genesis 24:12, HS)
“And I bowed my head and worshipped , and barak , Elohim of my master Abraham, who had led me in the true way to take the daughter of my master’s brother for his son.” (Bereshith/Genesis 24:48, HS)
“Exaltour Elohim, and bow yourselves at His footstool, He is qodesh. Mosheh and Aharon were among His kohenim, and Shemuel was among those calling upon His Name. They called upon, and He answered them.” (Tehillim/Psalm 99:5-6, HS)

“Sovereigns of the earth and all peoples, rulers and all judges of the earth, both young men and maidens, old men and children. Let them praise the Name of , for His Name alone is exalted; His splendour is above the earth and shamayim. He also lifts up the horn of His people, the praise of all His kind ones; of the children of Yisrael, a people near to Him. Hallelu-Yah!” (Tehillim/Psalm 148:11-14, HS)
“For You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Yisrael does not recognize us. You, O , are our Father, our Redeemer – Your Name is from of old.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 63:16, HS)
“Oh, give thanks to ! Call upon His Name, Make known His deeds among the peoples.” (Psalm 105:1, HS)
“That if you confess with your mouth the Master and believe in your heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, and so is saved. Because the Scripture says, “Whoever puts his trust in Him shall not be put to shame.” Because there is no distinction between Yehudi and Greek, for the same Master of all is rich to all those calling upon Him. For “everyone who calls on the Name of shall be saved.” (Romiyim/Romans 10:9-13, The Scriptures, ISR)
“I call upon , the One to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:3, HS)
- Messiah came in His Father’s Name and He declared the Father’s Name, the Name of the Most High while He walked on the Earth. When Messiah came to the earth, the first thing he did after His 40-day fast before His ministry was actually proclaiming the Name of Elohim, giving esteem to Elohim. He rebuked Satan three times and declared the Name of Elohim three times, which you can find in Matthew 4:4, 7, and 10 in the Bible. And the first prayer line in His prayer model He set for His disciples is “Our Father in the heavens, Qodesh be Your Name …” (Matthew 6:9-13) You can see that Messiah esteemed the Name of the Father first. Even in His prayers, Messiah mentioned He had declared the Name of Elohim the Father to His chosen ones. (John 17:26) And Messiah himself said to Elohim that “And this is everlasting life that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and Messiah whom You have sent.”(John 17:3) Therefore, it’s important to know Elohim, the Messiah, the Name of Elohim and the Name of Messiah. And it’s important to declare and exalt and esteem the Name of Elohim and the Name of the Messiah! But how can we truly know Elohim and the Messiah if we don’t even know the Name of Elohim and the Name of the Messiah? We should walk as Messiah walked. Our new identity is in Messiah. since Messiah proclaimed, declared, esteemed the Name of Elohim, and proclaimed the Word as His priority while he was walking on the earth, so I believe we should also do the same. So now let’s see what Messiah said:
“But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of .’” (Mattithyahu/Mathew 4:4, HS)
“said to him, “It has also been written, ‘You shall not try your Elohim.’” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 4:7, ISR)
“Then said to him, “Go, Satan! For it has been written, ‘You shall worship your Elohim, and Him alone you shall serve.'” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 4:10, ISR)
“O, righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17:25-26, NKJV)
“And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Qodesh Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one, as We are. When I was with them in the world, I was guarding them in Your Name which You have given Me, and I watched over them, and not one of them perished except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be filled.” (Yohanan/John 17:11-12, HS)
“I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.” (John 17:6, NKJV)
“I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.” (John 5:43, NKJV)
“For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying: “I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.” (Hebrews 2:11-12, NKJV)
“And this is everlasting life that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and Messiah whom You have sent.” (John 17:3)
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name, who were born, not of blood nor of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim.” (John 1:12-13, The Scriptures, ISR)
- The apostles of Messiah also declared the Name of Elohim.
You can find examples of this in many parts of the New Testament of the Bible. For example, Apostle Saul/Paul mentioned the Name of Elohim when He quoted the Scriptures from the Tanak/Old Testament. (Hebrews 10:30) Likewise, Kepha/Peter also declared the Name of Elohim in his preaching which is written in Acts 2:21 and James/Ya’acob declared the Name of Elohim, which is written in Ya’acob/James 5:10.
“For we know Him who has said, “Vengeance is Mine, I shall repay,” says .” And again, “ shall judge His people.” It is fearsome to fall into the hands of the living Elohim.” (Ibrim/Hebrews 10:30, HS)
“’And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of shall be saved.'” (Acts 2:21, HS)
“My brothers, as an example of suffering and patience, take the nebi’im, who spoke in the Name of .” (Ya’acob/James 5:10, HS)
- The Messengers of Elohim, a great multitude in the Heavens/Shamayim and the four living creatures around the throne of Elohim declared and praised the Name of Elohim. (Genesis 16:11, Revelation 19:1, 3, 6, Revelation 4, Isaiah 6:3)
“And the Messenger of said to her, “See, you are conceiving and bearing a son, and shall call his name Yishmael, because has heard your affliction.” (Bereshith/Genesis 16:11, HS)
“And after this I heard a loud voice of a great crowd in the shamayim, saying, “HalleluYah! Deliverance and esteem and respect and power to our Elohim!” (Hazon/Revelation 19:1, HS)
“And a second time they said, “HalleluYah! And her smoke rises up forever and ever!” (Hazon/Revelation 19:3, HS) “And I heard as the voice of a great crowd, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunders, saying, “HalleluYah, for El Shaddai reigns!” (Hazon/Revelation 19:6, HS)
“And one cried to another and said, “Qodesh, qodesh, qodesh is of hosts; all the earth is filled with His esteem!” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 6:3, HS)
“And the four living creatures, each having six wings, were covered with eyes around and within. And they do not cease, day or night, saying, “qodesh, qodesh, qodesh, El Shaddai, who was, and who is and who is coming!” (Hazon/Revelation 4:8, HS)
Note: What do the words like “declaring”, “proclaiming” and “calling upon” mean? Does it make sense to you if it was not spoken out?
Now let us reason Jeremiah 44:26 regarding the fact that Elohim forbade the man of Judah in the land of Egypt/Mitsrayim to mention His Name. Elohim said that His name shall no more be named/called upon in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt. “Therefore hear the word of , all Yahudah who are dwelling in the land of Mitsrayim, ‘See, I have sworn by My great Name,’ declares , ‘My Name shall no longer be called upon by the mouth of any man of Yahudah in all the land of Mitsrayim, saying, “As the Master lives…” (Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 44:26, HS)
What occurs to you when you hear that Elohim declared that His name shall no longer be called upon in the mouth of any man of Juda in all the land of Egypt? To my understanding, first of all, this commandment was given to all men of Judah dwelling in the land of Mitsrayim/Egypt at that time. He did not say that His Name shall no longer be called upon by anyone on the face of the earth, which means Elohim did not forbid all people to call upon His Name. Secondly, we can understand that before this time, Elohim’s Name was called upon in the mouth of Yahudah/Judah, which proves that the belief that” The Personal Name of Elohim was never spoken” was Wrong. Therefore, I believe the statement that the Name of Elohim was never spoken out is false!
Question 2: Did the original Hebrew Torah, the original Hebrew nanuscripts of the Scriptures substitute , the Qodesh/Holy Name of Elohim with the titles like The LORD, Adonai, Elohim, and Ha Shem? Should substitutions of the Name of Elohim with those titles in most of Bible translations be considered as truth?
The answer is no. You can find some of the reasons below:
- “THE LORD”, “HA SHEM” and “ADONAI” are not the Name of Elohim. These are the SUBSTITUTIONS of the Qodesh NAME of ELOHIM, // , the MOST HIGH, OUR CREATOR! Such alterations of truth are acts of disobedience, and should not be encouraged. True worshipers worship Elohim in Spirit and in Truth.
Now, let us read Matthew 4:4. {“But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of .’” (Mattithyahu/Mathew 4:4, HS)} Matthew 4:4 is what Messiah quoted from Deuteronomy 8:3 of the Tanak/Old Testament. If you go back to check Deuteronomy 8:3 from Hebrew original manuscripts, you will find out the True Name of our Creator is written there, not the term “THE LORD”. And every time in English Bible, wherever the term “the LORD” is used, it should be the place where the true Name of our Creator is written. The True Name of our Creator is // .
- No one has authority to replace the Name of Elohim but Elohim Himself. No one has the authority to replace, add or take away any of the words of Elohim from the Holy Bible/Qodesh Scriptures.
When we worship Elohim, if we avoid esteeming/declaring His Name, we really do not worship Elohim in Truth, then we won’t be considered as true worshipers, for the Messiah said that the True Worshipers worship the FATHER in spirit and in truth. The Father seeks such to worship Him. (John 4:23-24)
- A person’s name tells his or her identity and names in many cultures carry meanings, therefore names should not be replaced or translated.
In fact, calling someone by his or her real name is a way of showing respect and recognition. How do you feel if someone substitutes your name with a title or your friend refuses to call you by your given name? They might give you many excuses for their refusal to call you by your true name. They might tell you that they don’t speak your native language so they don’t know how to call you by your true name. Or they might say it doesn’t matter as long as you know that they know you. You probably would feel greatly offended if they did that to you. You probably will ask them how they can really know you if they don’t even know your true name and they don’t even show their efforts to try to call you by your true name.
- Isn’t it very disrespectful to you if someone ignores your true name and calls you a made-up name or a title all the time? How much more disrespect it shows to our Creator when people substitute His Qodesh Name with the titles “LORD” and when people reject the true Name of the Creator and the true Name of the Messiah?
- We Know that Names do not change with locations and time. When we travel to different countries, we don’t change the writings and pronunciations of our names. Therefore, the writings and pronunciations of the Name of our Creator and the Name of the Messiah should not be changed either! But unfortunately, the written Name of our Creator has been replaced by the Title “THE LORD” or “GOD” and the written Name of the Messiah has been replaced by its transliterations such as “Yeshua, Y’shua, Joshua, Jeshua, Jesus” in English and Iησοῦς (Iēsous) in Greek.
- I believe the writing and pronunciation of the name of any person should be the original only. A name should not change its writing and pronunciation no matter where and no matter in what language it is written and pronounced. I believe that our Creator and the Messiah’s Names should be kept as they are in their original forms in writing, spelling, and pronunciation and they are not to be translated or changed in the process of translations of the Scriptures.
“Elohim is Ruah, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24, HS)
“My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being kohen for Me. Since you have forgotten the Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children.” (Hoshea/Hosea 4:6, HS)
“For I say to you, from now on you shall by no means see Me, until you say, ‘Baruk is He who is coming in the Name of !'” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 23:39, HS)
- There is nowhere in the original Hebrew Torah you can find those substitutional terms like the LORD, Adonai, and Ha Shem in the places where the Name of Elohim was written. Such Substitutions are not acceptable. The truth is that the True Name of Elohim was written in the original Hebrew Scriptures and Elohim wrote His qodesh Name with His qodesh fingers in His Ten Commandments on the 2 tablet stones as well. (See Exodus 31:18)
“And when He had ended speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of the Witness, tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim.” (Shemoth/Exodus 31:18, HS)
- The Scriptures contain the true written Name of Elohim almost 7000 times. You can find this proof from the original Hebrew Scriptures and archaeological findings such as the dead sea scrolls, and Isaiah scrolls. You can also find this proof in the common Bibles, by which I mean that wherever in the English Bible the texts “The LORD”, “ADONAI”, “HA SHEM” or “ELOHIM” are written, those are normally the places where the Substitutions of the Name of Elohim Occur. Those places are where the Qodesh Name of Elohim was originally written. Adding words to the Qodesh Scriptures is a Sin. Replacing the Name of Elohim with other words is falsehood and disobedient and it is Sin because we are commanded not to add to the Word of Elohim. (Proverbs 30:6)
“Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6, NKJV)
- Taking away the Name of Elohim from the Bible and replacing it with other titles are acts of disobedience.
In fact, now let’s take one example to dive into this further: / (Pronounced as Adonai, and it means “Master”) is one of the Titles of Elohim. According to the Scripture, sometimes Elohim is called (Pronounced as “Adonai”), and He is also known by / (“Adonai /). So when those translators in the process of replacing the Holy/Qodesh Name of Elohim with the title (“Adonai”) in the text, they encountered this problem – repeating (Adonai) twice in a row. To avoid this occurrence, they replaced the text (“Adonai “) with the text (“Adonai Elohim”or “the Lord God”). Let’s see the following different versions of Bible translations of(“Adonai “) for Jeremiah 32:17-19 and Jeremiah 32:25-27 so we can compare how much alteration has been done to the Word of Elohim:
- Bible Translations of Jeremiah 32:17-19 and Jeremiah 32:25-27 which replaced the Name of Elohim, / with other titles
(Jeremiah 32:17-19, Picture Above Exempt from NKJV)

By comparison of the above Bible translations, can you see how many alterations of the words of Elohim have been done in the translation process? This is pure falsehood and disobedience. Adding words to the Word is Sin. Replacing the Name of Elohim with other words is a sin because we are commanded not to add to the Word of Elohim. (Proverbs 30:6) {Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. (Proverbs 30:6, NKJV)} Taking away the Name of Elohim from the Bible and replacing it with other titles are acts of disobedience. Following the replacement theory is following the Lie. Abandoning the truth to follow the lie is not what the people of Elohim should do. Our Elohim is Elohim of Truth, and the Word of Elohim is True! Elohim, the Most High is Holy/Qodesh and His Name is Qodesh! He is Everlasting and His Name is Everlasting. It’s frustrating to see this has happened! No one has the authority to replace His Name, add or take away any of His words from the Holy Bible/Qodesh Scriptures. When we worship Elohim, if we avoid esteeming and declaring His Name, we really do not worship Elohim in truth, then we won’t be considered as true worshipers, for Messiah said that the true worshipers worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father seeks such to worship Him. (John 4:23-24)
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” (John 4:23, NKJV)
“Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.” (Yohanan/John 4:24, NKJV)
Why do so many people believe the Lie? While the answer is in the Word:
“And with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10, NKJV)
“And for this reason, Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood, in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12, ISR)
Messiah is the Truth. (John 14:6) The Devil is the father of lies. (John 8:44) Who are we following if we are following the lies? As Messiah had said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6, NKJV)
“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” (John 8:44, NKJV)
Question 3: Is it true according to the Scripture that only a high priest is allowed to speak the Name of Elohim once a year when he entered the temple of Elohim to make atonement for the people of Israel? If that is the case, it means that anybody other than the high priest (though he can only speak it on the day of atonement when he entered the temple.) cannot speak the Name of Elohim.
The answer is no. This is not true according to the Bible.
- Because there is nowhere in the Bible written that only a high priest is allowed to speak the Name of Elohim. The prophets spoke the Name of Elohim. For example, Yeshayahu/Isaiah, and Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah did so. There are so many verses in the Bible that include the sentences like this: “Thus says …”. You can find examples like these in the original Hebrew Scripture manuscripts in the Book of the Prophets such as Isaiah, Jeremiah…etc. For example, Isaiah 44:24.
“Thus said , your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb, “I am , doing all, stretching out the shamayim all alone, spreading out the earth, with none beside Me,” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 44:24, HS)
- But now, let’s suppose the above rule was true, then can we, the redeemed ones of Elohim by the blood of // / / speak the Name of Elohim or not?
I believe we can! We should realize who we are in Messiah ; we should know our True Identity. Let us not forget that we are not ourselves anymore, it is Messiah who lives in us. The Body is dead because of sin, We have been raised with Messiah . We are not born of flesh. we are born of the Spirit of Elohim. It is not we who Live, but Messiah lives in us. we are the body of Messiah . We have the access to the Holy of the Hollies, the most qodesh presence of Elohim by the blood of . We are a holy nation, a royal priesthood. Messiah is our High Priest Forever! He has atoned our sins once and for all. There is no need for Him to go to the temple of Elohim to make atonements every year. For Messiah has done for all of us once and for all, He has offered one sacrifice for sins forever, and sat down at the right hand of Elohim, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool and He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. Our body now is the temple of the Ruah ha’Qodesh/the Holy Spirit, and we have an everlasting High Priest indwelling us. HalleluYah!
Therefore, even from this perspective, we, the redeemed ones by the blood of Messiah , can declare the Name of Elohim just as Messiah did since He is our High Priest Forever. We should walk as Messiah walked. Remember we have been crucified with Him. It is He who lives in us. And our body is the Temple of Elohim, so, we can access the presence of Elohim anytime by the blood of Messiah and in the name of Messiah ! HalleluYah! What’s more, Elohim Himself told us that His Name is // , and He does not give His Glory to Another so it’s the will of Elohim for us to proclaim, declare and exalt and esteem His Qodesh Name.
Note: Why wasn’t the high priest who spoke the Name of Elohim considered as taking the Name of Elohim in vain, while other people who spoke the Name of Elohim would be considered as breaking the Third Commandment? This thinking is really contradicting, and it doesn’t make sense to me. Therefore, either way, I believe we are allowed to declare the Name of Elohim.
“Or do you not know that your body is the Mishkan of the Ruah ha’Qodesh who is in you, which you have from Elohim, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price, therefore esteem Elohim in your body and in your spirit, which are of Elohim.” (Qorintiyim 1/1 Corinthians 6:19-20, HS)
“If, then, you were raised with Messiah, seek the matters which are above, where Messiah is, seated at the right hand of Elohim. Mind the matters above, not those on the earth. For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Messiah in Elohim. When the Messiah, who is our life, is manifested, then you also shall be manifested with Him in esteem.” (Qolasim/Colossians 3:1-4, ISR)
“I have been impaled with Messiah, and I no longer live, but Messiah lives in me. And that which I now live in the flesh I live by belief in the Son of Elohim, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatiyim/Galatians 2:20, The Scriptures, ISR)
“He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim.” (Yohanan/John 1:11-13, ISR)
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (1 Peter 2:9, NKJV)
“Beloved ones, now we are children of Elohim. And it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” (Yohanan Aleph/1 John 3:2, ISR)
“And it was not without an oath! For they indeed became kohenim without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him, “ has sworn and shall not regret, ‘You are a Kohen forever according to the order of Malkitsedeq.’” (Hebrews 7:20-21. HS)
“By as much as this has become a guarantor of a better covenant. And indeed, those that became priests were many, because they were prevented by death from continuing, but He, because He remains forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save completely those who draw near to Elohim through Him, ever living to make intercession for them. For it was fitting that we should have such a High Priest – kind, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens, who does not need, as those high priests, to offer up slaughter offerings day by day, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself. For the Torah appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the Torah, appoints the Son having been perfected forever.” (Ibrim/Hebrews 7:22-28, The Scriptures, ISR)
“By that desire we have been set apart through the offering of the body of Messiah once for all. And indeed every priest stands day by day doing service, and repeatedly offering the same slaughter offerings which are never able to take away sins. But He, having offered one slaughter offering for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of Elohim, waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet. For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are set apart.” (Hebrews 10:10-14, ISR)
“And the Ruah ha’Qodesh also witnesses to us, for after having said before, “This is the Covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says: giving My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them, and, “Their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall remember no more.” Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer a slaughter offering for sin.” (Ibrim/Hebrews 10:15-18, HS)
“I am , that is My name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 42:8, HS)
“So, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Set-apart Place by the blood of , by a new and living way which He instituted for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of Elohim, let us draw near with a true heart in completeness of belief, having our hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience and our bodies washed with clean water. Let us hold fast the confession of our expectation without yielding, for He who promised is trustworthy.” (Ibrim/Hebrews 10:19-22, ISR)
The Importance of Proclaiming the Name of Elohim
- It is the will of Elohim for His Qodesh/Holy Name to be known and declared on all the earth. The name does matter! It is the will of Elohim for us to know, proclaim, bless, praise, exalt and esteem His Qodesh Everlasting Name and the Name of the Messiah. We need to know the Name of Elohim and the Name of the Messiah. We are so blessed to know the Name of Elohim and the Name of the Messiah! HalleluYah! Praise Elohim!
Elohim has demonstrated His will for us to know Him and His Name by the fact that He Himself Proclaimed His Name numerous times and that He proclaimed His Name to His chosen ones such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses. He told them who He was and what was His Name. He asked Moses to tell the children of Israel who He was and what was His Name (Exodus 3:13) He asked Moses to tell Aaron to put His Name on the children of Israel and He shall bless them (Numbers 6:22-27) and many times He Himself told Israel that Who He was and What was His Name! He even clearly declared in Isaiah 52:6 that His people should know His Name. You can See How much Emphasis Elohim Placed on knowing Him and His Qodesh/Holy Name! Elohim Himself asked Israel to call upon Him and know Him. (Jeremiah 33:2, Jeremiah 29:12, Jeremiah 9:23-24) And Messiah himself said to Elohim, the Father that “And this is everlasting life that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and Messiah whom You have sent.” (John 17:3) Therefore, it’s so important to know Elohim, the Messiah, the Name of Elohim and the Name of the Messiah!

“And appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the Elohim of your father Abraham. Do not fear, for I am with you, and shall barak you and increase your seed for My servant Abraham’s sake.” And he built an altar there, and called on the Name of , and he pitched his tent there, and the servants of Yitshaq dug a well there.” (Bereshith/Genesis 26:24-25. HS)
“And see, stood above it and said, “I am Elohim of Abraham your father and the Elohim of Yitshaq. The land on which you are lying, I give it to you and your seed. And your seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall break forth to the west and to the east, to the north and the south. And all the clans of the earth shall be baruk in you and in your seed. And see, I am with you and shall guard you wherever you go, and shall bring you back to this land. For I am not going to leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” And Ya’aqob awoke from his sleep and said, ‘Truly, is in this place, and I did not know it.’” (Bereshith/Genesis 28:13-16, HS)
“And Mosheh said to Elohim, “See, when I come to the children of Yisrael and say to them, ‘The Elohim of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His Name?’ what shall I say to them?”And Elohim said to Mosheh, “I am that which I am.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Yisrael, ‘I am has sent me to you.’” And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Israel: ‘Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Yitshaq, and the Elohim of Ya’aqob, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.'”(Shemoth/Exodus 3:13-15, HS)
“And He said, “I shall cause all My goodness to pass before you, and I shall proclaim the Name of before you. I shall favour him who I favour, and shall have compassion on him whom I have compassion.’” (Exodus 33:19, HS)
“I, I am , and besides Me, there is no savior.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 43:11, HS)
“I am , your Qadosh One, Creator of Yisrael, your Sovereign.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 43:15, HS)
“Thus said , Sovereign of Yisrael, and his Redeemer, of hosts, ‘I am the First and I am the Last, besides Me there is no Elohim.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 44:6, HS)
“‘I am , and there is none else – there are no mighty ones besides Me. I gird you, though you have not known Me, so that they know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none but Me. I am , and there is none else, forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil. I,, do all these.'”(Yeshayahu/Isaiah 45:5-7, HS)
“I am , that is My name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 42:8, HS)
- His Name is Qodesh! It is the Commandment of Elohim for us to Revere, Praise, Esteem, and Exalt His Qodesh Name. The Qodesh Name of our Creator and the Qodesh Name of the Messiah should be highly respected, praised, and honored. Esteeming the Name of Elohim and the Name of Messiah are very important. When we do that, we are giving esteem to our Elohim, our Creator, and our Saviour. If we don’t proclaim and esteem the true Name of our Elohim and the Messiah, we are disobeying the commands of Elohim and the Messiah. If we use other names to replace the Name of Elohim and the Name of the Messiah, we would be dishonoring Elohim and the Messiah and giving glory to others, which are acts of disobedience.
Elohim Himself told us that His Name is , and He does not give His Glory to Another. Elohim desires His people to know His Name and glorify His Name. It is a commandment from Elohim for us to esteem His Qodesh Name. Proclaiming, and esteeming His Name and His Word are very important obedient actions in keeping the Commands of Elohim! By not calling upon His Name, not Singing Praises to His Name, not esteeming His Name, one does give the glory to another which is against the will of Elohim. For there are many false Elohim who use the title of Elohim or Adonai, but there is only one true Elohim and HE has a Great, Awesome, Glorious, Holy, and Everlasting NAME, He is our Elohim, the Elohim of Israel, the Elohim of all flesh. Our Elohim Has a Name. His Name indicates Who He is – He is the First and the Last, He is self-existent. He is the Creator, the Most High, the Elohim of all elohim, the Adonai of all adonai. The Qodesh Name of Elohim has Power, and His Name Alone is exalted. When we bless His NAME, SING PRAISES, and give thanks to His Name, we are giving Glory to Elohim, who is WORTHY to be PRAISED!
“You do not bring the Name of your Elohim to naught, for does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.” (Exodus/Shemoth 20:7, Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)
“And he who blasphemes the Name of shall certainly be put to death, and all the congregation certainly stone him, the stranger as well as the native. When he blasphemes the Name, he is put to death.” (Wayyiqra/Leviticus 24:16, HS)
“I am , that is My name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 42:8, HS)
“”And now what have I here,” declares , “that My people are taken away for naught? Those who rule over them make them wail,” declares , “And My Name is despised all day continually. Therefore My people shall know My Name, in that day, for I am the One who is speaking. See, it is I.”” (Isaiah 52:5-6, HS)
(Yeshayahu/Isaiah 43:10-13, Picture Above Exempt from Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)
- There is power, salvation, safety, protection, blessing, healing, and deliverance in the Name of Elohim and the Name of the Messiah. His Name is our safety and, in His Name, there is salvation! The correct pronunciations of our names are very important. How much more important it is to pronounce and write the Qodesh Name of our Elohim and the Qodesh Name of the Messiah in the Right Way? It is written, whosoever calls on the Name of will be saved. And there is no other name under heaven man must be saved except by the name of // / / Messiah. Therefore, Avoiding calling upon the Name of Elohim is like avoiding salvation!
“For ‘everyone who calls on the Name of shall be saved.’” (Romiyim/Romans 10:13, HS)
“That at the Name of , every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father.” (Pilipiyim/Philippians 2:10-11, ISR)
“That at the name of Y’shua every knee should bow, of (beings) in heaven and on earth and under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Master YHWH is Y’shua Mashiyach to the glory of Elohim his Father.” (Philippians 2:10-11, Aramaic English New Testament, AENT)
“Let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Yisrael, that in the Name of Messiah of Natsareth, whom you impaled, whom Elohim raised from the dead, by Him this one stands before you, healthy. This is ‘the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ “And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.”” (Ma’asei/Acts 4:10-12, ISR)
For “everyone who calls on the Name of shall be saved.”” (Romiyim/Romans 10:9-13, The Scriptures, ISR)
“And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of shall be delivered. For on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape as has said, and among the remnant whom calls.” (Yo’el/Joel 2:32)
“’And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of shall be saved.'” (Acts 2:21, HS)
“O Elohim, save me by Your Name, and rightly rule me by Your might.” (Tehillim/Psalm 54:1, HS)
“Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make His mighty power known.” (Psalm 106:8, NKJV)
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” (Psalm 91:14-15, NKJV)
“In every place where I cause My Name to be remembered I shall come to you and barak you.” (Shemoth/Exodus 20:24b, HS)
“The Name of is a strong tower; The righteous run into it and are safe.” (Mishley/Proverb 18:10, HS)
“Our help is in the Name of , Maker of shamayim and earth.” (Psalm 124:8, HS)
“ answers you in the day of distress! The Name of the Elohim of Ya’aqob exalts you!” (Psalm 20:1, HS)
“I call upon , the One to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.” (2 Shemuel/Samuel 22:4, HS)
“I love You, O , my strength. is my rock and my stronghold and my deliverer; My El is my rock, I take refuge in Him; My shield and the horn of my deliverance, my high tower. I call upon , the One to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:1-3, HS)
“Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.” (Psalm 44:5, NKJV)
“All the gentiles surrounded me, In the Name of I shall cut them off. They surrounded me, even, they surrounded me; In the Name of shall I cut them off. They surrounded me like bees; They were extinguished like burning thorns; In the Name of I shall cut them off. Pushing, pushing me to fall, but helping me. Yah is my strength and song, and He has become my deliverance.” (Tehillim/Psalm 118:10-14, HS)
Question 4: Is it a sin to take the Name of Elohim in vain?
The Answer is an absolute yes.
- El Shaddai/the Most High is Qodesh! His Name is Qodesh/Holy! I totally agree that speaking or using the Name of Elohim casually in a blasphemous way or for vain purposes, for cheating, lying and any self-seeking way or in any disrespectful and unrighteous way is a sin. For Elohim Is Holy/Qodesh and His Name is Holy/Qodesh. We are commanded not to use His Name in vain. Using His Name in vain is breaking the Third Commandment. Elohim will not leave the one unpunished who takes His Name in Vain.
“You do not bring the Name of your Elohim to naught, for does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.” (Shemoth/Exodus 20:7, HS)
“And he who blasphemes the Name of shall certainly be put to death, and all the congregation certainly stone him, the stranger as well as the native. When he blasphemes the Name, he is put to death.” (Wayyiqra/Leviticus 24:16, HS)
- It was written in the Scriptures that Elohim forbade His Name to be mentioned in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt. I believe this happened because of their idolatrous and unrighteous acts which displeased Elohim. For example, there were false prophets among men of Judah/Yahudah in the land of Egypt/Mitsrayim who lied in the Name of Elohim. Lying in the Name of Elohim is using the Name of Elohim in vain. And it is sin, that will be punished. (Jeremiah 44:26-29)
“Therefore hear the word of , all Yahudah who are dwelling in the land of Mitsrayim, ‘See, I have sworn by My great Name,’ declares , ‘My Name shall no longer be called upon by the mouth of any man of Yahudah in all the land of Mitsrayim, saying, “As the Master lives…” ‘See, I am watching over them for evil and not for good. And all the men of Yahudah who are in the land of Mitsrayim shall be consumed by the sword and by the scarcity of food, until they come to an end. And those who escape the sword, few in number, shall return from the land of Mitsrayuim to the land of Yahudah. And all the remnant of Yahudah, who came into the land of Mitsrayim to sojourn there, shall know whose word is established, Mine or theirs. And this is the sign to you,’ declares , ‘that I’m punishing you in this place, so that you know that My words are certainly established against you for evil.'” (Jeremiah 44:26-29, HS)
“For thus said of hosts, Elohim of Yisrael, ‘Let not your nebi’im and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you, neither listen to the dreams which you are dreaming. For they are prophesying falsely to you in My Name. I have not sent them,’ declares .” (Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 29:8-9, HS)
Blaspheming the Name of Elohim, lying, and prophesying falsely in the Name of Elohim is Sin. Elohim was very displeased to see His Name being used in any unrighteous ways. He will punish those who use His Name in Vain.
““I have heard what the nebi’im have said who prophesy falsehood in My Name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’” (Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah 23:25, HS)
“”And now what have I here,” declares , “that My people are taken away for naught? Those who rule over them make them wail,” declares , “And My Name is despised all day continually.”(Yeshayahu/Isaiah 52:5, HS)
“For “The Name of Elohim is blasphemed among the nations because of you,” as it has been written.” (Romans 2:24, ISR)
Question 5: Should proclaiming and glorifying the Name of Elohim be regarded as taking His Name in vain?
The answer is no.
- Scriptures clearly show that proclaiming, praising, declaring, blessing, and esteeming the Name of Elohim, calling upon His Qodesh, Great, Awesome, and Everlasting Name, and Giving Glory to His Name is the will of Elohim. Therefore, it can’t be regarded as using His Name in vain. Thus, I don’t believe the prohibition of proclaiming and praising the Name of Elohim is the will of Elohim for those who love Him. The Scripture clearly shows that it is the will of Elohim for us who love Him to know His Qodesh Name and declare His Name. We should highly revere, respect, bless, esteem, exalt, glorify, praise, call upon, cry out to, and give thanks and praise to His Qodesh Name. In the book of Tehillim/Psalms of the Scriptures, we can find so many verses written about giving praises, thanks ,and esteem/glory to the Name of Elohim. (For example Psalm 96:2, Psalm 30:4, 33:21, 34:3, 66:2, 66:4, 69:30, 99:3, 99:6, 100:4, 103:1, 105, 106:1, 47, 107:13, 19, 28, 107:1, 8, 15,31, 21, 111:1, 113:1-3, 115:17-18, 116:4, 117, 118:1, 5, 10-12, 19, 26, 29, 120:1, 122:4, 124:8, 130:1, 134, 135:1-4, 135:13, 19-21, 136:1-4, 138:1-2, 140:1, 142:1,5, 145:1-3, 18, 21, 146:1-2, 10, 147:1, 20, 148:1, 5, 7, 13, 14, 149:1-3, 9, 150:1, 6…etc..)

“And for this reason I have raised you up, in order to show you My power, and in order to declare My Name in all the earth.” (Shemoth/Exodus 9:16, HS)
“Therefore thus said the Master , ‘Now I am going to bring back the captives of Ya’aqob. And I shall have compassion on all the house of Yisrael, and shall be jealous for My qodesh Name.’” (Yehezqel/Ezekiel 39:25, HS)
“And I shall make My qodesh Name known in the midst of My people Yisrael, and not let My qodesh Name be profaned any more. And the gentiles shall know that I am , the Qadosh One in Yisrael. See, it shall come, and it shall be done,’ declares the Master. ‘This is the day of which I have spoken.’” (Yehezqel/Ezekiel 39:7-8)
- Elohim desire His people to know His Name and glorify His Name. Elohim said that His Name is and His Glory He does not give to another. Not Esteeming the Name of Elohim, replacing His True Name with other titles, and not giving glory, esteem, thanksgiving, and praises to His Name are actually different manifestations of taking the Name of Elohim in vain, which is against the will of Elohim. Elohim Himself mentioned that His Name is despised among the nations all day continually and He declared that His people should know His Name. (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 52:5-6)
By not calling upon the Name of Elohim, not singing praises to His Name and not esteeming His Name, one actually does give the glory to another which is against the will of Elohim. There are many false Elohim who use the title of elohim or adonai, but there is only one true Elohim and He has a glorious Name which is ! , the Name of our Elohim, the Elohim of Israel, the Elohim of all flesh, indicates who He is: He is the First and the Last, and He is Self-Existent. There are so many bible verses related to esteeming the Name of Elohim. It is the desire of Elohim for His Name to be glorified in Heaven and on earth. Elohim was grieved to see his people forget His Name for Baal and other false gods. Therefore, if we are not esteeming the Name of Elohim, we are really not glorifying Elohim, and we are actually helping people forget Elohim and we are in a way helping the future generation and other people who do not know Elohim remain in the darkness by not proclaiming the Name of the Only True Elohim to them. This is really sad and has negative impacts!
“How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.” (Jeremiah 23:26-27)
- If anyone believes that it is sinful for us to proclaim the true Name of our Creator, please think also about these:
In the word (Most commonly pronounced as “Halleluyah”) which means “Praise You (Pronounced as “Yah”), there is , the Name of our Creator in it. (Pronounced as “Yah”) is the short version of the Name of Elohim, Our Creator. You can find this in the word (Most commonly pronounced as “halleluyah”) and also you can find this version of His Name in many verses of the Scriptures/Bible, Such as Psalm 68:4, Psalm 102, Psalm 117, Psalm 135, Psalm 138, Psalm 148, Psalm 149, Isaiah 26:4, Revelation 19:1-3 … etc.
/ / is the short version of the Name of / / , the One and Only Creator!
“Sing to Elohim, sing praises to His Name. Raise up a high way for Him Who rides through the deserts by His Name Yah, and exult before Him.” (Psalm 68:4, The Scriptures, ISR)
“Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, And rejoice before Him.” (Psalm 68:4, NKJV)
(Tehillim/Psalm 68:4-5, Picture Above Exempt from the Interlinear Bible Hebrew English by Jay P. Green)
“Trust in the Lord forever, For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.” (Isaiah 26:4, NKJV)
“Trust in forever, for in Yah,, is a rock of ages.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 26:4, Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)
“Trust in forever, for in Yah, , is a rock of ages.” (Yeshayahu/Isaiah 26:4, The Scriptures, ISR)
(Tehillim/Psalm 26:4, Picture Above Exempt from the Interlinear Bible Hebrew English by Jay P. Green)
Therefore, if anyone says that he doesn’t speak Hebrew, actually he does as long as he says the word “Halleluyah” but he might not realize that he does, for when he says “halleluyah”, he is actually speaking Hebrew. And if anyone says that he doesn’t pronounce the Name of Elohim, actually he does, as long as he says “halleluyah”, he is actually pronouncing the Name of Elohim. And also he is pronouncing the Name of our Elohim the Creator whenever he pronounces the Name of the Messiah, and whenever he mentions the names of some prophets or the Books of the Prophets, and the Books of Kings, Chronicles, such as Yeshayahu/Isaiah, Yirmeyahu/Jeremiah, Zechariah, Zephaniah, etc., and many names of the kings and many other names of the characters of the Scriptures and many Jewish names today, because they have all the Name of Elohim (Pronounced as “Yah”) – our Creator’s Name in them.
Therefore, according to the belief that pronouncing/proclaiming the Name of our Elohim the Creator is blasphemous, and sinful, then everyone who says “halleluyah” is sinful and blasphemous, and everyone who reads the Bible is sinful, for they cannot avoid speaking the Name of our Creator (“Pronounced as Yah), then the host of messengers/angels and saints in the heavens, recorded in the Book of Revelation of the Bible and every believer of Messiah, the apostles, every Israelites, every Hebrew, every prophet, including the Messiah // / / (Pronounced as “Yahushua/Y’shua”) Himself would belong to this blasphemous group if that theory was true. Obviously, this belief is false, for as we know the truth is that Messiah is SINLESS! He proclaimed the Name of our Creator, the only One True Elohim. He didn’t sin by doing that, and He committed NO SIN in any way. He is sinless, period! And we also know that it is not sinful to read the Bible/Scriptures and it is not sinful to say”halleluyah/hallelujah”! Therefore since it is not sinful to say/pronounce/proclaim the Hebrew pronunciation “HalleluYah” and since it is not sinful for all the Old Testament and New Testament people and Messiah // / / (Yahushua/Y’shua) our Master to proclaim the Name of Elohim and since it’s not sinful for all the host of the heavens to say “HalleluYah” and to proclaim the Name of Elohim// ; and it’s not sinful to pronounce the Name of the Messiah // / / (which contains the Name of Elohim), and it’s not sinful for everyone who reads the Bible and pronounces the names of the Bible characters which contain the Name of the Creator / / (Pronounced as “Yah”) in its short version form, and it is not sinful to call someone by his name which contains the Name of our Creator, WHY should we believe it is sinful to proclaim and pronounce the Name of our Elohim in its full version form –// ? Since it’s not sinful to proclaim the Name of Elohim// (the full version form) and / / (the short version form) in the Torah, in the Old and New Testament time, in Revelation – the future time, why should anyone think it is sinful to do so now? Does Elohim change? Since our Elohim is the same yesterday, today and forever! If anyone tries to avoid pronouncing/proclaiming the Name of Elohim the Father and the Son, I believe he has to avoid the ENTIRE BIBLE. It’s impossible to avoid calling upon the Name of Elohim as long as you call upon the name of Messiah (because Elohim the Father’s Name is in the Son – Messiah’s Name contains the Name of Elohim the Father). If you want to avoid proclaiming the Name of Elohim completely, you will have to leave the faith/belief totally because it is IMPOSSIBLE TO AVOID proclaiming/declaring/pronouncing the Name of Elohim // our Creator and the Name of Messiah // / / if you want to get saved and stay saved. You will have to call upon the Name of Elohim and Master as long as you are in your walk with Him and connected to the Word, the Scriptures/Bible, to // Elohim, the Most High and Master !
- We are Elohim’s people and we are called by His Name and we are commanded to magnify the Qodesh Name of our Creator and the Messiah. Elohim is Light. Master is Light. We need to let Him shine through us, which can be done first by proclaiming and esteeming His Qodesh Name. There is no darkness with Elohim. Substituting the True Name of Elohim is helping people forget who the True Elohim is and it is helping people disregard the True Elohim who is . Therefore, by not calling upon the Name of Elohim and not giving praises to His Name, one is actually against the Will of Elohim by hiding the glory of Elohim, giving the glory due to Him to another. And Elohim will search this out. Therefore, it is time to esteem the Name of our Elohim, and give glory to Him alone!
Beloved ones, we must walk as Master walked and we must declare , the Qodesh Name of our Elohim, Father, and Creator just as King David did! It’s time to accept the truth and worship the Father in spirit and truth! We are to seek, know, remember, love, declare, proclaim, magnify, exalt, esteem, glorify, bless, call upon, trust, and give thanks and praise to His Qodesh Name! We are to lift our hands and walk in His Qodesh Name! And we should also repent and get baptized in the Name of Messiah if we have not done so and we should pray to Elohim in the Name of Messiah and esteem the Name of Elohim and Messiah our Savior, the Savior of the world!
“If we have forgotten the Name of our Elohim, Or stretched out our hands to a foreign mighty one, Would Elohim not search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.” (Tehillim/Psalm 44:20-21, HS)
“I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.” (John 5:43, NKJV)
In Conclusion, the Belief that declaring the Qodesh Name of Elohim is blasphemous is not true! According to the Scriptures, the guidance of the Ruach ha’Qodesh/Holy Spirit within me, my countless hours of research and prayers, the dream revelations Elohim gave to me back in 2012 about His Name and His will, and the facts presented in this article and reasoning led by the Ruach ha’Qodesh, I firmly believe that it is the will of Elohim for all His people, all the living creatures on the earth and all the host of the heavens to proclaim and esteem His Name and the Name of Messiah Always and Forever!!!
Be blessed beloved. Let’s proclaim and exalt the Qodesh Name of our Creator and Elohim // the Most High. Let’s worship the Elohim the Father in spirit and in truth and let’s also esteem Messiah’s Great Name and call our Master our King, the Messiah by His true Name, // / / !
IT’S TIME TO WORSHIP ELOHIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH!
