What is Our Identity?

It really took me a while to discover who I am in Messiah! Under the guidance of the Ruach Ha Qodesh, I would like to share my blessings (Note: The list below is by no means a complete list) regarding my identity, not only I, but also those of Messiah // / /  (Yahushua/Y’shua/ Yeshua/Jesus)! HalleluYah! Praise // (Yahuwah/Yahuah/Yehovah/Yahuweh/Yahweh) Elohim our Creator and our Father!

• We are the redeemed of ! And we have been crucified with Messiah  and raised with Him. And we are born-again Believers/Disciples/Talmidim/Taught Ones of  the Messiah. HalleluYah!

“Give thanks to ! For goodness, for His kindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of say, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary, and gathered out of the lands, from east and from west, from north and from south.” (Tehillim/Psalm 107:1-3, HS)

^“Knowing that you were redeemed from your futile behaviour inherited from your fathers, not with what is corruptible, silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for your sakes, who through Him believe in Elohim who raised Him from the dead and gave Him esteem, so that your belief and expectation are in Elohim.” (Kepha Aleph/1 Peter 1:18-20, The Scriptures, ISR)

 “I have been impaled with Messiah, and I no longer live, but Messiah lives in me. And that which I now live in the flesh I live by belief in the Son of Elohim, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatiyim/Galatians 2:20, The Scriptures, ISR)

“For the love of Messiah compels us, having judged this: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised. So from now onwards, we know no one according to the flesh. And if we have known Messiah according to the flesh, yet now we no longer know Him thus. Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a renewed creature – the old matters have passed away, see, all matters have become renewed! And all matters are from Elohim, who has restored us to favour with Himself through Messiah, and has given us the service of restoration to favour, that is, that Elohim was in Messiah restoring the world to favour unto Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of restoration to favour. Therefore, we are envoys on behalf of Messiah, as though Elohim were pleading through us. we beg, on behalf of Messiah: Be restored to favour with Elohim. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Elohim.” (2 Corinthians 5:14-21, The Scriptures, ISR)  

^“ answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born from above, he is unable to see the reign of Elohim.” (John 3:3, The Scriptures, ISR)

“So said to those Yehudim who believed Him, “If you stay in My Word, you are truly My taught ones, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (Yohanan/John 8:31, ISR)

“Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23, New King James Version, NKJV)

“And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.” (Luke 14:27, New King James Version, NKJV)

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20, NKJV)

“If, then, you were raised with Messiah, seek the matters which are above, where Messiah is, seated at the right hand of Elohim. Mind the matters above, not those on the earth. For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Messiah in Elohim. When the Messiah, who is our life, is manifested, then you also shall be manifested with Him in esteem. (Qolasim/Colossians 3:1-4, ISR)

• We are the children of Elohim, the Most High, our Creator, and we are the heirs of Elohim and co-heirs with Messiah  .

“Beloved ones, now we are children of Elohim. And it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” (Yohanan Aleph/1 John 3:2, ISR)

^“He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name, who were born, not of blood nor of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim.” (Yohanan/John 1:11-13, The Scriptures, ISR) 

“Being born again – not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of Elohim which lives and abides forever.” (1 Peter/Kefa 1:23, The Complete Messianic Aleph Tav Scriptures, William H. Sanford)

 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim, and if children, also heirs – true heirs of Elohim, and co-heirs with Messiah, if indeed we suffer with Him, in order that we also be exalted together.” (Romans 8:14-17, The Scriptures, ISR)  

• We are servants of the Messiah

^“And a servant of the Master should not quarrel but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient when wronged, in meekness instructing those who are in opposition, lest somehow Elohim gives them repentance unto a thorough knowledge of the truth, and they come to their senses, out of the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his desire.” (2 Timothy 2:24-26, The Scriptures, ISR)

• We are friends of the Messiah

“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another.” (John 15:15-17, NKJV)

• We are brothers and sisters of the Messiah.

“But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 12:48-50, NKJV)

“Then said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go, report to My brothers, to go to Galil, and they shall see Me there.” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 28:10, The Scriptures, ISR)

^“ said to her, “Do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’” (Yohanan/John 20:17, The Scriptures, ISR)

• We are soldiers of   the Messiah.

“Suffer hardship with us as a good soldier of  Messiah. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in the affairs of this life, in order to please only him who enlisted him as a soldier.”  (Timotiyos Bet/2 Timothy 2:3-4, ISR)

• We are ambassadors/envoys for  the Messiah

 “Therefore we are envoys on behalf of Messiah, as though Elohim were pleading through us. We beg, on behalf of Messiah: Be restored to favour with Elohim.”  (2 Corinthians 5:20, ISR)

• Our body is the temple of the Ruach ha’Qodesh/the Holy Spirit.

“Or do you not know that your body is the Mishkan of the Ruah ha’Qodesh who is in you, which you have from Elohim, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price, therefore esteem Elohim in your body and in your spirit, which are of Elohim.” (Qorintiyim 1/1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)

• We are the Body of Messiah , His Assembly and His Bride. We are members of His Body, of His flesh, and of His bones. Messiah is our Head, the Head over all, the Head of the Assembly, the Leader, the Rabbi, the Teacher, and the Bridegroom of His Assembly. 

^“Because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Messiah is head of the assembly, and He is the Saviour of the body.” (Ephesians 5:23, The Scriptures, ISR)

“giving thanks to the Father who has made us fit to share in the inheritance of the set-apart ones in the light, who has delivered us from the authority of darkness and transferred us into the reign of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the firstborn of all creation. Because in Him were created all that is in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities – all have been created through Him and for Him. And He is before all, and in Him all hold together. And He is the Head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that He might become the One who is first in all. Because in Him all the completeness was well pleased to dwell, and through Him to completely restore to favour all unto Himself, whether on earth or in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of His stake. And you, who once were estranged and enemies in the mind by wicked works, but now He has completely restored to favour in the body of His flesh through death, to present you set-apart, and blameless, and unreprovable before Him,” (Colossians 1:12-22, The Scriptures, ISR)

^“And to Him who is able to do exceedingly above what we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us, to Him be esteem in the assembly by Messiah unto all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21, The Scriptures, ISR)

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, so that you know what is the expectation of His calling, and what are the riches of the esteem of His inheritance in the set-apart ones,  and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who are believing, according to the working of His mighty strength which He wrought in the Messiah when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,  far above all rule and authority and power and mastery, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all, to the assembly, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:18-23, The Scriptures, ISR)

^“But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’, for One is your Teacher, ha’Mashiah, and you are all brothers. And call none on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in the shamayim. Neither be called leaders, for One is your Leader, ha’Mashiah.” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 23:8-10, Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)

^“Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Ruah ha’Qodesh has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of Elohim which He has purchased with His own blood. ” (Ma’aseh/Acts 20:28, Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)

^“And I heard as the voice of a great crowd, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunders, saying, “HalleluYah! For El Shaddai reigns!  Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself.” And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousness of the qodeshim. And he said to me, “Write: ‘Baruk are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true words of Elohim.” (Revelation 19:6-9, Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)

“”And see, I am coming speedily, and My reward is with Me, to give to each according to his work. I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Blessed are those doing His commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city. But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood. I, , have sent My messenger to witness to you these matters in the assemblies. I am the Root and the Offspring of Dawid, the Bright and Morning Star.” And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And he who hears, let him say, “Come!” And he who thirsts, come! He who desires it, take the water of life without paying!” (Revelation 22:12-17, The Scriptures, ISR)

• We are fellow citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven of the qodesh ones and members of the Household of Elohim with Master  as our chief cornerstone.

“So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens of the set-apart ones and members of the household of Elohim, having been built upon the foundation of the emissaries and prophets, Messiah Himself being chief corner-stone, in whom all the building, being joined together, grows into a set-apart Dwelling Place in , in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of Elohim in the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:19-22, The Scriptures, ISR)

• We are a chosen generation, a holy nation, Elohim’s special people, and a royal priesthood. We are sovereigns/kings and priests to Elohim with Master    as our Sovereign/King, Master, and our High Priest Forever! We have Elohim and Master , our Everlasting King, Master, Savior, and High Priest indwelling us. He is the Sovereigns of sovereigns/King of kings and Master of All, the Savior of All! HalleluYah! We are so blessed! HalleluYah! Praise Elohim!

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (1 Peter 2:9, NKJV)

^“To whom Elohim desired to make known what are the riches of the esteem of this secret among the nations: which is Messiah in you, the expectancy of esteem.” (Qolasim/Colossians 1:27, ISR)

“And it was not without an oath! For they indeed became kohenim without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him, “has sworn and shall not regret, ‘You are a Kohen forever according to the order of Malkitsedeq.’” (Hebrews 7:20-21. HS)

 “By as much as this has become a guarantor of a better covenant. And indeed, those that became priests were many, because they were prevented by death from continuing, but He, because He remains forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save completely those who draw near to Elohim through Him, ever living to make intercession for them. For it was fitting that we should have such a High Priest – kind, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens, who does not need, as those high priests, to offer up slaughter offerings day by day, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself. For the Torah appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the Torah, appoints the Son having been perfected forever.” (Ibrim/Hebrews 7:22-28, The Scriptures, ISR) 

“By that desire we have been set apart through the offering of the body of Messiah once for all. And indeed every priest stands day by day doing service, and repeatedly offering the same slaughter offerings which are never able to take away sins. But He, having offered one slaughter offering for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of Elohim, waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet. For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are set apart.” (Hebrews 10:10-14, ISR) 

“So, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Set-apart Place by the blood of  , by a new and living way which He instituted for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of Elohim, let us draw near with a true heart in completeness of belief, having our hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience and our bodies washed with clean water. Let us hold fast the confession of our expectation without yielding, for He who promised is trustworthy.”(Ibrim/Hebrews 10:19-22, ISR) 

^“Yohanan, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Favour to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from  Messiah, the trustworthy witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the sovereigns of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us sovereigns and priests to His Elohim and Father, to Him be esteem and rule forever and ever. Amen. See, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth shall mourn because of Him. Yes, Amen.” (Hazon/Revelation 1:4-7, The Scriptures, ISR) 

^“And I saw the shamayim opened, and there was a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True, and in righteousness He judges and fights. And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having a Name that had been written, which no one had perceived except Himself. And having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood – and His Name is called: The Word of . And the armies in the shamayim dressed in linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of El Shaddai. And on His robe and on His banner He has a name written: SOVEREIGNS OF SOVEREIGNS AND MASTER OF MASTERS.” (Hazon/Revelation 19:11-16, Halleluyah Scriptures, HS)

^“For the saving Gift of Elohim has appeared to all men, instructing us to renounce wickedness and worldly lust, and to live sensibly, righteously, and reverently in the present age, looking for the blessed expectation and esteemed appearance of the great Elohim and our Savior Messiah who gave Himself for us, to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people, His own possession, ardent zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:11-14, The Scriptures, ISR)
